Dream On International envisions a world where freedom from slavery is an indomitable right from birth and access to basic human rights paves the way toward fulfillment of dreams and aspirations. Dream On’s mission is to combat human trafficking, gender-based violence, child labor, and the underlying causes using a culturally sensitive community-based approach.

Prevention and protection are central to Dream On’s strategy. Through our prevention programs, we conduct survivor-centered research, reduce economic burdens, educate and empower communities, and decrease disease, which has a direct impact in lowering the rate of human trafficking in those communities. Our protection programs ensure that survivors of human trafficking receive rehabilitative assistance with dignity, have a safe space to recover and rebuild their lives, and are provided with access to service providers for psycho-social, medical, and legal assistance. Survivors are given the necessary education or skills through college or vocational school to guarantee a holistic reintegration into society.

Whether Dream On has enrolled children in school who were formerly working on family farms or provided intensive care for a young adults rescued from human trafficking, it has dramatically changed lives one-by-one. All Dream On scholarship recipients proudly state that they are happy and grateful for the love, care, and advocacy they received, which has enabled them to rise above adversity and realize their dreams.
